Rep. Emilia Strong Sykes, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Ohio's 13th district, has been actively engaging with her constituents through various initiatives and social media updates. Her recent tweets highlight her commitment to community engagement and advocacy for important causes.

On May 20, 2025, Rep. Sykes expressed gratitude towards attendees of Academy Day in Hudson by stating "Thank you to all the students and families who came out to Academy Day in Hudson to learn more about the U.S. Service Academies." She also informed interested students that they could apply for a nomination from her by October 17.

Later on May 20, she acknowledged Jewish American Heritage Month with a celebratory message: "Happy Jewish American Heritage Month! All month long we celebrate the contributions of the Jewish community on our nation’s culture, values and history."

The following day, on May 21, Rep.
