Emilia Strong Sykes, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio's 13th district, utilized social media to communicate key concerns and activities on April 28 and 29, 2025. Her tweets spanned various topics from labor safety to local community engagements and pressing economic issues.

On April 28, 2025, Sykes acknowledged Workers Memorial Day with a message honoring workers lost or affected by hazardous working conditions. She emphasized the need for more than just remembrance, urging for actions that protect worker safety.

Later that day, Sykes invited constituents to partake in an event titled "Congress in Our Community" on April 30 in Twinsburg. The initiative offered an opportunity for residents to discuss issues with federal agencies and engage directly with her team, encouraging residents to RSVP for participation.
