On November 26, 2024, Rep. Sykes announced a significant financial commitment from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for water infrastructure across the United States. She stated that "Rep. Sykes recently joined the @EPA to announce $3.6 billion for water infrastructure nationwide, including $169 million that will come back to Ohio."
