Rep. Emilia Strong Sykes, who has represented Ohio’s 13th Congressional District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, addressed a range of constituent concerns in a series of posts on August 13, 2025.
In one post from that day, Rep. Sykes emphasized her opposition to proposed reductions in Medicaid funding, stating: "Cuts to Medicaid would hurt families like Sara’s, who rely on the program for long term care. Rep. Sykes will never support cuts to Medicaid, because she knows how important it is to families in #OH13." (August 13, 2025)
Later the same day, she highlighted her office’s commitment to providing constituent services: "Rep. Sykes’ number one priority is serving you – the people of Ohio’s 13th Congressional District. That requires offering top-notch constituent services.
