Rep. Emilia Strong Sykes, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 13th district since 2023, recently engaged with her constituents on various pressing issues and announced significant funding for local healthcare organizations. Sykes succeeded Tim Ryan and previously served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2015 to 2022.

On March 24, 2025, Rep. Sykes shared her experiences from a week of engaging discussions with constituents in #OH13. She encouraged people to "sign up for our newsletter at https://t.co/pAEf7GdsPN for the full update each week."

Later that day, she reminded the community about the deadline for artwork submissions to the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. In her tweet, she provided details on how to participate: "Visit https://t.co/pAEf7GdsPN to check out the list of our drop off locations, conveniently located all around #OH13."

In another announcement on March 24, Rep. Sykes highlighted a financial boost for local health care services. She stated that "Axesspointe Community Health Center will receive $1,430,827 and My Community Health Center will receive $350,000." This combined funding aims to enhance healthcare services within her district.
