On Saturday, January 27, former Lyons Township High School standout, Tavari Johnson’s current college team, the Akron Zips, lost 68-70 in their NCAA D1 game against the Miami RedHawks.

The game took place in Oxford, Ohio. This was the first matchup against the Miami RedHawks this season.

The Akron Zips’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, January 30 at 7 p.m. in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
