GREEN, OH — Last week, U.S. Representative Emilia Sykes (OH-13) hosted an ice cream social at Pav’s Creamery in Green to celebrate students who participated in her 2023 Congressional Readers Club. The inaugural summer Congressional Readers Club was open to K-12 students in Ohio’s 13th Congressional District, and all students who participated received a special certificate of recognition from the Congresswoman.
“I’m so proud of the students who participated in the first ever Congressional Readers Club for Ohio’s 13th Congressional District! It was wonderful to celebrate their achievement and learn what great books they read this summer, all while enjoying a local business,” said Rep. Sykes. “I look forward to continuing to grow the Congressional Readers Club to unite and inspire more young readers across our communities.”
