The Green City Council organizational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 3 at 5 p.m. in City Council Chambers. Council members will appoint their president and vice president, approve the City Council rules, and identify City Council committee assignments for 2023. The meeting is open to the public and will be live streamed at cityofgreen.org/videos.
The first regular City Council meeting of 2023 is January 10 at 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 1755 Town Park Blvd. City Council committee meetings begin prior to the regular meeting at 5 p.m. City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month. The second meeting in January is the Mayor’s Annual State of the City address, which will be held at Green High School auditorium, on Thursday, January 26 at 7 pm.
