Active Shooter Response

On November 16, 2022, at approximately 10:10 a.m., the Summit County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a possible active shooter incident at Coventry High School. Dispatchers advised the same caller has made numerous other reports of an active shooter at various schools. Summit County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Coventry High School within minutes of receiving the call. The deputies patrolled inside the school and found no issues within the school. The call was determined to be a hoax. Summit County Sheriff’s Detectives are investigating the false report
