Mayor Anzevino Issues Proclamation of 2nd Annual Vincent William Baran Day of Service

To honor the on-going community service in memory of Vincent Baran, Mayor Anzevino issued a proclamation naming September 24, 2022, to be the 2nd Annual Vincent William Baran Day of Service during the City Council meeting on September 6.

Every year, the Baran family coordinates community service opportunities in September to keep the legacy of Vincent Baran, who died in an accident in 2020. Vincent was named after Saint Vincent de Paul, the Catholic patron saint of the poor, whose feast day is in September.

The family's organization, Mighty Vincent, provides many service opportunities around the Cleveland and Akron area for people to get involved and honor Vincent’s life and legacy.
