The Green’s Parks Ambassadors Program is holding the inaugural kick-off meeting Thursday, April 7 at 6pm at the John Torok Community and Senior Center, 4224 Massillon Road. All community members who are already registered or interested in learning more about this volunteering program are encouraged to attend.

The Park Ambassador Program is a volunteer-driven organization of committed community members, who assist with information, support services, special events, and advocacy. Ambassadors’ opportunities include but are not limited to photography, walking trail patrol, event representative, naturalist educator, First Tee instructor, and dog park monitor. Those who apply to become a parks ambassador must apply online and also fill out a background release form.

This interactive kick-off meeting will help prepare, educate, and outfit Ambassadors for upcoming opportunities in Green parks.

Learn more about the program or apply at cityofgreen.org/Ambassador.
