On Friday, March 21, former North High School standout Emily Dowden’s current college team, the Long Beach State Beach, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Cal State Northridge Matadors.

The game took place at Matador Diamond. This was their second matchup against the Matadors this season.

The Beach’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at Matador Diamond against Cal State Northridge Matadors.
