Rep. Emilia Strong Sykes, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Ohio's 13th district, has been actively engaging with the public and highlighting key legislative priorities through social media. Her recent activity covers important topics concerning public health, legislative initiatives, and community engagement.

On March 26, 2025, Rep. Sykes addressed public health concerns regarding clean water. She asserted, "No American should worry about whether their drinking water is safe when they turn on the tap." Emphasizing the importance of clean water, she noted, "Protecting clean water is critical to preserving our public health and the environment, as well as for our businesses and local communities who rely on clean water to thrive."

The following day, March 27, 2025, Rep. Sykes invited the public to participate in a live discussion on a new legislative effort, the INFANTS Act. She tweeted, "Join Rep. Sykes today on Instagram Live at 11:45 a.m. for the WTF Show to discuss her recent legislation, the INFANTS Act, which would require baby formula to be tested for heavy metals."

Later that day, she expressed her gratitude towards constituents of Ohio’s 13th district for their active participation in community events. She noted, "From day one, Rep. Sykes has vowed to bring #OH13 to Washington, and she can only do that when she hears from the community, so thank you to everyone who joined the Community Conversation last week and made their voices heard."
