On February 6, 2025, Rep. Sykes highlighted the significance of Ohio's only national park by stating: "As Ohio's only national park, the Cuyahoga Valley National Park preserves thousands of acres of our beautiful community, including the winding Cuyahoga River, dense forest, and open farmland.
