Rep. Emilia Strong Sykes, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Ohio’s 13th district, has recently shared her thoughts and initiatives through a series of tweets. Sykes, who replaced Tim Ryan in 2023 and previously served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2015 to 2022, highlighted various aspects of her work and community involvement.

On February 5, 2025, Rep. Sykes acknowledged National Girls & Women in Sports Day by commending athletes and coaches for their contributions. She stated, "Today is National Girls & Women in Sports Day, and Rep. Sykes is uplifting the contributions of athletes and coaches who have inspired the next generation with their dedication, strength, and love of the game."

On February 6, 2025, Rep. Sykes reflected on her role within Congress where she serves on two key committees: @sciencedems and @TransportDems. She wrote about her responsibilities as Vice Ranking Member while emphasizing community engagement: "Rep.
