Rep. Emilia Strong Sykes, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 13th district, shared updates on her recent activities and achievements through a series of tweets.

On December 10, 2024, Rep. Sykes announced that the Water Resources Development Act had passed the House. The legislation authorizes funding for various local projects aimed at enhancing water quality and infrastructure in Ohio's 13th district. In a tweet dated December 11, 2024, Rep. Sykes addressed constituents' challenges when dealing with federal agencies. On December 12, 2024, Rep. Sykes congratulated William Arrowood from NIHF STEM High School for winning the 2024 Congressional App Challenge for Ohio's 13th district. His app, "How to Beat Bezos," is described as an innovative stock market simulator designed to educate players on buying and selling stocks for profit.
