Rep. Emilia Strong Sykes, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 13th district, shared a series of updates on her official social media account regarding local recognition, an upcoming national event, and legislative progress.

On December 9, 2024, Rep. Sykes extended her congratulations to Kendra Santiago for being named the "#OH13 Champion of the Week." In her post, she noted that last month, while working as a delivery worker, Santiago saved a man's life in Akron.
