The City of Green is honored to welcome 300 engineers, consultants, and government administrators to Green for the 2022 Ohio Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) Roundabout Conference on December 14 at MAPS AIR Museum, 2260 International Pkwy. Hosted by the Ohio Department of Transportation, the annual one-day conference brings together city, county and state agencies and consultants who share best practices on roundabout design and construction.
The conference begins with a welcome from Green Mayor Gerard Neugebauer followed by a presentation on engaging a community throughout the roundabout design and construction process from City Engineer Paul Pickett and Communications Manager Valerie Wolford. Keynote speaker Dr. Hillary Isebrands, P.E., safety engineer for the Federal Highway Administration Safety and Design Team Lead for Roundabouts, will present a national update on roundabouts. Additional speakers throughout the day will discuss topics on roundabout design, safety and case studies.
