Nichole Messner, Clerk of Council Earns Designation of Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC)

City of Green’s Clerk of Council Nichole Messner earns designation of Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC), awarded by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), Inc. The IMC acknowledges the CMC designation to those only who have completed demanding education requirements and have a record of significant contributions to their local government, community, and state. 

Nichole has worked for the City of Green since 2006, first as a Dispatcher for the Green Fire Division, then as the Administrative Secretary for the Planning Department, and now as the Clerk of Council. 

Messner is a member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerk’s (IIMC), the Northeast Ohio Municipal Clerks Association (NEOMCA), and the Ohio Municipal Clerk’s Association (OMCA). She is also serving as the Secretary for the Tri-County Clerks Association. She is a licensed Notary Public.

She lives in Clinton with her husband Rob and daughters; Olivia, Emma & Sophia.
