Census Bureau: More women than men in Akron in 2020

Of the 197,375 people living in Akron in 2020, 52.4 percent (103,453) were women and 47.6 percent (93,922) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Akron Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 4,163. In the 65 and over age range, there were 17,131 females and 12,704 males.
