Law Enforcement Expo set for April 14 at Stark State College

A Law Enforcement Expo is set for April 14 from 1-4 pm in Stark State College’s Business and Entrepreneurial Center, 6200 Frank Ave. NW, North Canton.

The event, open to all, will highlight career opportunities such as police officer, park police, watercraft officer, wildlife officer, BCI agent, undercover drug agent, transit or airport police, gaming agent, detective, SWAT officer and more. The Expo also will feature SSC training programs for law enforcement careers as well as more than 20 local and state departments and agencies with available law enforcement positions.

The Canton Police Department SWAT team and the Summit County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad will be in the spotlight, along with K9 maneuvers and drone demonstrations.

Stark State’s Career Services experts also will be on hand with tips about job-seeking skills, including interviewing, resumes and more.
