Green City Council Appoints City Council Officers for 2022

City of Green issued the following announcement on Jan. 7

At the January 4 Green City Council Organizational meeting, Dave France (At Large) was elected City Council president and Clark DeVitis (At Large) was elected vice-president for 2022.

The following ward council members were sworn in with term expiration of 2025:

Ward 1: Barb Babbitt, second term.

Ward 2: CJ Meager, second term.

Ward 3: Rocco Yeargin, second term.

Ward 4: Jeff Noble, first term.

City Council Committee Assignments for 2022 include:

Finance: Rocco Yeargin, Chair; CJ Meager, Vice-Chair; Richard Brandenburg

Environment and Parks: Richard Brandenburg, Chair; Rocco Yeargin, Vice-Chair; Barb Babbitt

Public Safety: Clark DeVitis, Chair; Barb Babbitt, Vice-Chair; Dave France

Planning and Economic Development: Barb Babbitt, Chair; Clark DeVitis, Vice-Chair; Jeff Noble

Rules and Personnel: CJ Meager, Chair; Richard Brandenburg, Vice-Chair; Rocco Yeargin

Transportation, Connectivity, and Stormwater: Jeff Noble, Chair; Dave France, Vice-Chair; Clark DeVitis

Intergovernmental and Utilities: Dave France, Chair; Jeff Noble, Vice-Chair; CJ Meager

The first City Council meeting of 2022 is January 11 at 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 1755 Town Park Blvd. City Council committee meetings begin prior to the regular meeting at 5 p.m. City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month.  Watch live at cityofgreen.org/videos.
