Summit County ranked 26th in Ohio for resident earnings in 2018

Summit County ranked 26th among counties in Ohio by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Summit County residents was $29,671 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 224,385 households with a population of 541,810.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Delaware County with $45,772 per year after adjusting for inflation – $16,101 more than Summit County. It had 68,649 households with a population of 197,008.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Athens County with $14,586 per year after adjusting for inflation – $15,085 less than Summit County. It had 22,620 households with a population of 65,936.
