On Saturday, February 10, former Lyons Township High School standout, Tavari Johnson’s current college team, the Akron Zips, lost 59-73 in their NCAA D1 game against the James Madison Dukes.

The game took place in Harrisonburg, Virginia. This was the first matchup against the James Madison Dukes this season.

The Akron Zips’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, February 17 at 2 p.m. in Buffalo, New York.
