Summit County ranked 24th in Ohio for resident earnings in 2019

Summit County ranked 24th among counties in Ohio by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Summit County residents was $30,799 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 224,726 households with a population of 541,334.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Delaware County with $46,471 per year after adjusting for inflation – $15,672 more than Summit County. It had 69,985 households with a population of 201,135.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Athens County with $16,021 per year after adjusting for inflation – $14,778 less than Summit County. It had 22,557 households with a population of 65,917.
