The City of Akron is beginning preparations for its Summer 2026 programming at Lock 3 and is seeking public input through a new community survey. After a diverse array of concerts, events, and festivals during the 2025 season, city officials are inviting feedback from residents who have attended in the past as well as those considering future visits.

“Lock 3 belongs to the community, whether you joined us last summer or are still waiting for the right event to bring you downtown, your voice matters,” said Akron Mayor Shammas Malik. “This feedback will help us continue building inclusive, exciting experiences for all. Make sure to take the survey today and share with your friends and family.”

City leaders emphasize that responses to the survey will influence future programming decisions at Lock 3.
